Happy New Year and 3 months old

I know, I know, it's 18 days past the New Year and it seems that people have stopped wishing each other Happy New Year too. But I thought I'd take this opportunity to say it anyways, "Happy New Year"...

I'm 3.5 months old right now (mid-January) and soon will have another weigh in at my 4-month wellness check-up. That's going to be a bummer. I was fussy during the 2-month old. It lasted for a good 2 days. Mama guess that I'm around the 13 to 14lb range right now.

I get up at 6am every morning and I cry until Mama and Daddy turn on the light. In an instant, I become a happy baby and start to jabble. I love seeing Daddy get ready for work. I baby-talk to Daddy and he seems to reciprocate too. I spend the first 30 minutes of my day with Daddy, then when he heads to work, I fall back asleep for my 1st nap of the day.

Mama began her exercise routine - her New Year resolution: to lose the baby weight. So, she exercises an hour a day, 5 times a week! Grandma takes care of me during this time. During the day, Grandma and Mama take turns to feed and change me.

Before I know it, Daddy's home already. I take my bath (I love the warm water) and then Mama feeds me before sleeping for the night. But I do get up around 10:30pm or so to take 1 more feeding.

Just this morning (1/18), Daddy is trying to wean me off my mid-early mornning feed. I seem to do okay. Didn't cry at all.

Mama is concerned that I'm not eating enough. I think she will feed me more during the day.

I love to smile, jabber, kick my legs and swing my arms. I am a very happy boy!!!
