Back to where I belong - Soonerland

Mama and Papa took me back to Soonerland - Norman, OK over the Memorial Day weekend. We all went in Aunt Laura and Uncle CJ's car. It was a fun family mini-vacation. Grandpa pushed me and my koko (big brother) BB Laynce around the Norman Campus.
My Grandpa in our double stroller.

Mama and Papa told me that this is where it all began. The place they met. It was really special that we got to take an unforgettable family portrait here.

My Laynce Koko (brother). I really look up to him. He is so smart. He can walk already....

My 1st Garage Sale

I had my first garage sale over the weekend. Mama sold many of the things I cannot use anymore. She also sold some of her home decor too! We were in the mode of selling stuff to fund more toys and stuff for me to use for my age.

The rest of the stuff we didn't sell, Mama plans to sell them in the Mom's Consignment Sale.

We made a whopping $40!!! I can buy alot of gently used stuff for $40 on Craigslist and other garage sales.

Fun at the park

Most days - if Mama and I dont have to work, we get to stroll near our house in my Vroom-Vroom car (my OU stroller) - that Mama insisted I must have. We walked twice a day whenever possible. Most of the time, we stop and play in the swings for a few minutes.

Here are some of my photos.... Look how happy I am.

My New Playarea

This is my new playarea. Since Grandma went home, we moved upstairs. I have been sleeping by myself in my own room. I feel like a Big Boy now.

Mama and Daddy moved all my stuff into my new room and they set up the upstairs gameroom for me. It's filled with my toys and I spend most of my time here.

Happ Mother's Day to my mama

Today is my beloved mama's first Mother's Day. I love my mama very much and I want to tell her a big thank you for looking after, cleaning, feeding, washing, cooking, playing and loving me. My mama is the best. Daddy took me to buy a card for mama yesterday. I hope mama liked it.

Big big kisses to mama.

I'm 7 months now

It's been a while since I posted/ blogged about my life. As you can tell, being a 7 month-old is bussssy. You see, I sleep alot less than I used to. Mama's not too happy about that because it means her peace at home is shortening with every less nap I take. Nevertheless, Mama is excited to spend time with me.

In my 6-month appointment, I weighed 18 lbs and 27 inches tall. I had to see Dr. Bain the following week because Mama heard I coughed a couple of times during the day. She's very concern about me...... I weighed 18 lbs 10oz 10 days later. Must be all the solid foods that Mama's been feeding me. For lunch, I ate a bowl of rice cereal and for dinner, I eat a vaiety of vegetables. I dont like bananas. I love sweet peas and Aunt Laura's scallop and carrot porridge. Yummy.

Last week was a sad day at home. We all had to say Goodbye to Dear Maxx. On Tuesday April 29th 2008, Maxx left us. Very sad day. Grandma took care of me most of that evening.

My grandma who came to visit me when I wad 1-month old went home May 1. I miss her. She takes great care of me when Mama is at work. So, with Grandma gone, I get to follow Mama when she works. She told me that I've got too learn some good work ethics from young. I guess at 7-month old, it sounds like a good start.

Mama and Daddy moved me into my own bedroom on the day I turned 7-months. I did okay I guess. I got up a couple of times looking for my paci. They also turned the upstairs gameroom into my play area. I spent most of my time there during the day.

There's a story behind this photo:

Mama went to make milk while she asked me to keep myself occupied with the ads. By the time she got back, I fell asleep. Hey, reading is alot of hardwork!
